Kelly Daniels’ sister Lori lives in Joplin. She survived the tornados because a few weeks before the tornado hit fate had her move to a new home. The tornado had destroyed the home she was previously living in, she lost 5 friends, her work at the hospital, her Special Olympics facility, her physical therapy center, her dance hall and lost her beloved cat Gordy in the days following the disaster. Now, 4 months later, everyone thinks with all the help that everything is back to normal. But it’s not. For many it is impossible to rebuild their lives. Lori is lucky. She has a beautiful outlook on life and I decided it was time to celebrate that and uplift the community in Joplin. So on Oct 28th, we are going to Partay with an afternoon picnic and evening gala to raise funds for the special needs community in Joplin. Come dance with Lori and celebrate rebuilding Joplin.
